What is the 2063 Agenda ?

The  2063 agenda  is Africa’s design and master plan for  transubstantiating  Africa into the global  hustler of the future. It’s the  mainland’s strategic  frame that aims to deliver on its  thing for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete  incarnation of the pan-African drive for  concinnity,  tone- determination, freedom, progress and collaborative substance pursued underPan-Africanism and African Renaissance. 

The  birth of Agenda 2063 was the  consummation by African leaders that there was a need to direct and reprioritise Africa’s  docket from the struggle against intolerance and the attainment of political independence for the  mainland which had been the focus of The Organisation of African Unity( OAU), the precursor of the African Union; and  rather to prioritize inclusive social and  profitable development, international and indigenous integration, popular governance and peace and security amongst other issues aimed at  displacing Africa to  getting a dominant player in the global arena.  As an  protestation of their commitment to support Africa’s new path for attaining inclusive and sustainable  profitable growth and development African heads of state and government  inked the 50th Anniversary Solemn Declaration during the Golden Jubilee  fests of the  conformation of the OAU/ AU in May 2013. The  protestation marked there-dedication of Africa towards the attainment of the Pan African Vision of An integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens, representing a dynamic force in the  transnational arena and docket 2063 is the concrete  incarnation of how the  mainland intends to achieve this vision within a 50 time period from 2013 to 2063. The Africa of the future was captured in a letter presented by the former speaker of the African Union Commission,Dr. Nkosazana Dlaminin Zuma.  

The need to  fantasize a long- term 50 time development line for Africa is important as Africa needs to revise and  acclimatize its development  docket due to ongoing structural  metamorphoses; increased peace and reduction in the number of conflicts; renewed  profitable growth and social progress; the need for people centered development, gender  equivalency and youth  commission; changing global  surrounds  similar as increased globalization and the ICT revolution; the increased  concinnity of Africa which makes it a global power to be reckoned with and able of rallying support around its own common  docket; and arising development and investment  openings in areas  similar as agri- business,  structure development, health and education as well as the value addition in African goods  docket 2063 encapsulates not only Africa’s bournes for the Future but also identifies  crucial Flagship Programmes which can boost Africa’s  profitable growth and development and lead to the  rapid-fire  metamorphosis of the  mainland.

We had Nasser Nafea, President of Atlas for development , an organization that works on the 2063 Agenda, who had a special message to our youth : 

Youth need to engage through concrete impact . Practical experiences are the solution to learn , and co-create a strategic approach to contribute from a small scale to a much larger one . I call Moroccan and Pan-African youth to improve their decision making skills and onboard the highway of  advocacy in order to take Africa where it deserves to be .
