The miracle working powers of Meditation

The powers and benefits of Meditation are infinite; they could be a great escape from reality especially during the coronavirus phase

Quiet the mind, and the soul will speak.”

Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati

In earlier decades, people used to meditate so as to gain guidance, see the world through their spirits and release their pain. Nowadays, quite a lot of studies unveil that meditation could be a powerful tool for both mental and physical health.

A considerable number of leading scholars recommend meditation for its amazing benefits that can reprogram the brain. Some of its many benefits are its ability to strengthen our immune system, improve symptoms of anxiety and to decrease insomnia…

To dig deeper into its meaning, « meditation is to the mind what physical sports are to the body », it is a spiritual research that can offer you various possibilities to reach relief and true happiness.

There are a lot of types of meditation, the details of each differ; however, they all have one thing in common. They all help you disconnect with the world to reconnect with your inner self and other spiritual goals. Other than that, they allow your mind to dwell in the present and not stress about the future.

Now give it a try!

Find a relaxing music for mindfulness meditation, then sit in a comfortable place and get ready to meditate!

Take deep breaths and relax…

Make sure you are sitting comfortably then connect with your deep inner self and bring your mind’s attention to the present.

Be gentle to your thoughts, do not obsess over them

Focus on your breath as it goes in and out, and let your mind wander in your body as well as to other places

Now your mind is systematically focusing on your sensations. The feeling is magical…

The world is yours

Take control of your mind, and convince your subconscious mind that everything will fall into place

Believe that your thoughts will become your experiences

Keep breathing

Accept the fact that your body can give you what you want

Repeat after me:

I am fearless!

I am pure!

I am wise!

I am calm!

I am protected by the divine!

Believe in each word that comes out of your mouth

Your mind and soul are blown away

You are relieved

Take all the time you need

When you are ready, activate all your senses and try to feel and gaze anything that surrounds you

Be here now. Be someplace else later. Is that so complicated?

Before I held my BA in English Literature, so many people and teachers told me that I could be a great journalist. Well guess what....? After so many experiences, I found my passion and what I truely want to do with my life. And now I'm working on my masters degree in Journalism and Media.
