The Legendary Actress Ragaa El Geddawy is Laid to Rest After Fight with the Novel COVID-19
The Egyptian actress has died this Sunday from the novel COVID-19 in a hospital in Egypt weeks after testing positive
The famed actress tested positive on late may and was isolated for treatment at Abo Khalifa Emergency Hospital in Ismailia -known as the city of beauty and enchantment- until she passed away on July 5th at the age of 81.
Ragaa El Geddawy who is known as « the princess of art » and who started acting in the late 50s and 60s, spent 6 decades of her life giving emotive, artistic and passionate performances; and as far as her fans are concerned, she had the dedication to perform and bring her characters into life.

According to a local report, she has just finished filming for a soap opera Laabet EL Nesyan (Oblivion Game) that was broadcasted on TV during the Islamic sacred month.
The same source added that « No public funeral is arranged due to some health reasons. »
Ragaa has left behind grieving families all over the arab world, however, her good reputation as well as her name will outlive her.
